Dinosaur Farm Holidays, Brighstone, Newport, Isle Of Wight
Each caravan is well-equipped for a comfortable stay, featuring three bedrooms, a shower, and a flushing toilet. For convenience, they are fitted with electric lighting, a fridge, kettle, microwave, and toaster. Additional amenities include a gas cooker, fire, and water heater, ensuring hot water is readily available for all sinks and showers.
The farm itself is located in a coastal Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), an ideal area for walking, bird watching, star gazing, fossil hunting, and cycling. The Vectis Astronomical Society has lauded the Dinosaur Farm Museum on the Military Road as "one of the best sites to observe the sky," as quoted by the Isle of Wight County Press.
A notable historical discovery was made here in 1992 when over 30% of a Brachiosaurus skeleton, the most complete of its kind in Western Europe, was unearthed. Today, the farm hosts The Dinosaur Expeditions and features a Conservation and Palaeoart Centre. This centre showcases intriguing displays of dinosaur fossils and palaeoart, offers children's activities, and includes a fossil-themed gift shop, making it an enriching experience for visitors of all ages.
Dinosaur Farm Holidays not only offers a comfortable and equipped place to stay but also provides a gateway to both adventure and educational experiences, making it an ideal choice for a family holiday or a nature enthusiast’s getaway.
