Felin Crewi, Penegoes, Machynlleth, Powys
Felin Crewi translates from Welsh as "Mill on the River Crewi," though a more fitting description might be "a peaceful escape from the chaos of modern life in a tranquil 15th-century retreat." Set within a beautifully restored water mill, Felin Crewi offers the perfect sanctuary for those seeking rest and rejuvenation. Secluded yet easily accessible, the site features two charming holiday cottages, a stable and a caravan, providing a haven for weary souls in need of restoration. Upstairs, a comfortable living room provides stunning views toward Machynlleth, with the wooden crown wheel and shaft for the grinding stones serving as a unique centrepiece. The accommodation includes two double beds and two single beds, with bed linen and towels provided. Outside, guests can relax in a seating area beside the waterfall, make use of the BBQ facilities and enjoy the convenience of a large private parking area just a few metres away.
