Delamere Self-Catering Bungalows provide the ideal accommodation for a relaxing holiday in Delabole, Cornwall. Offering a perfect base from which to explore the stunning North Cornwall coast, each bungalow enjoys picturesque views across the Allen Valley.
All bungalows share the same layout, featuring two bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen and living area, and a bathroom with a separate toilet. Designed to comfortably accommodate a family of four, each bungalow includes one double bedroom and one twin room. Some bungalows also offer a double futon in the lounge area, allowing space for up to two additional guests.
The lounge area boasts a large picture window to make the most of the beautiful views, along with a television and DVD player for relaxing after a busy day. The kitchen is well-equipped with essential appliances, including a cooker, fridge, and microwave. The bathroom includes both a bath and an electric shower for convenience.
Blankets and pillows are provided, though guests are asked to bring their own bed linen, towels, and tea towels. A cot is available upon request. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at Delamere.
Set within a four-acre site that was once Delamere Farm and, before that, the small village of Delamere, the location is steeped in history. While only a few of the original village buildings remain, including the main cottage where the site managers reside, the area retains a charming rural character. Each bungalow benefits from a large grass area at the front, providing an ideal space for children to play while adults relax and take in the surrounding countryside.
The village of Delabole, located just half a mile away, offers convenient amenities, including grocery stores, a newsagent, a post office, a garage, a pub, and a restaurant, ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
