Both options create a cosy and indulgent atmosphere. Each unit includes an en-suite bathroom complete with a shower, bath, and sauna, as well as an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area. Outside, guests can enjoy garden furniture and a private hot tub, sunken into the veranda for added relaxation and privacy.
This stylish one-bedroom lodge offers a luxurious retreat, featuring a king-size wing-back bed and a freestanding bath with a floor-mounted waterfall tap. The en-suite also includes a sauna and a walk-in shower for added comfort. The open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area is both modern and inviting, complete with an electric fire, flat-screen smart TV, and a coffee maker. Outside, guests can relax on the rattan furniture or unwind in the private hot tub, thoughtfully sunken into the veranda for a truly peaceful escape.
The Athelington Lodges, part of the standard range, were fully renovated in 2024 to offer a fresh, updated experience. Each lodge now features a spacious veranda with comfortable rattan furniture, set beside a sunken hot tub that looks out over a wide, open lawn. Inside, you'll find a double bedroom with an en-suite shower, a twin bedroom, and a family bathroom complete with an over-bath shower, providing a relaxing and practical space for your stay.
The two-bedroom units feature a king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom, a family bathroom, and a double pull-out sofa bed, offering comfortable accommodation for families or small groups. Each lodge also includes a private hot tub, thoughtfully sunken into the veranda for added relaxation. Some of our lodges come with the added luxury of a sauna, these are marked with an S on our availability page. Please note that pets are not permitted in Hornbeam, while Hazel, Sycamore, and Spruce lodges welcome up to two dogs.

There's also a family bathroom complete with a sauna for added indulgence. The open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area offers a spacious and modern setting, complemented by a double sofa bed for additional guests. Outside, a private hot tub is sunken into the veranda, creating the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

The family bathroom includes a bath with an overhead shower and there’s also a sauna for a touch of added relaxation. The open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area provides a bright and comfortable space to unwind. Outside, you’ll find luxury rattan furniture and a private hot tub, thoughtfully sunken into the veranda for the perfect outdoor retreat.
Please note that there is no public transport in the village, so having your own transport is essential. Each lodge has ample parking space for several vehicles, and this site also has two pay-as-you-go EV charging points on site for electric vehicles. All of the lodges are thoughtfully appointed and offer fantastic views over open fields and the surrounding countryside, perfect for a relaxing, rural escape. You’re welcome to arrange a food delivery to the site during your stay; just be sure to use the same name as your booking.
Onsite, there is a games room equipped with a pool table, table tennis, air hockey, and a football table to keep both kids and adults entertained. Just outside your lodge, you’ll find an abundance of wildlife and scenic footpaths, making it easy to enjoy peaceful walks through the beautiful Suffolk countryside, whether you bring a pet or not, there’s plenty to explore and enjoy.
The location offers excellent access to a variety of nearby towns and traditional villages. The popular market town of Framlingham is just 15 minutes away, known for its historic castle. The stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast is also within easy reach, including the charming coastal towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold. Explore local attractions such as Eye Castle, Bressingham Steam Museum & Gardens, The 100th Bomb Group Memorial Museum, Mid Suffolk Light Railway, and Banham Zoo for enriching experiences.
