Thoughtfully designed and newly built, each of the four lodges enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and coastline. The lodges are spacious and comfortable, each sleeping up to six guests. Underfloor heating powered by air source pumps ensures a warm and cosy stay throughout the seasons. The layout is spread over two storeys. On the ground floor, guests will find a king-size double bedroom and a spacious wet room with shower, all designed with wheelchair access in mind. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is bright and welcoming, making it perfect for both socialising and quiet moments of relaxation.
Upstairs, the lodges feature a double bedroom with a balcony for taking in the far-reaching views, a twin bedroom and a modern bathroom. Modern appliances cater to every need, from internet access and HDTV with Blu-ray and Freesat to a fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave and toaster – all chosen with energy efficiency in mind. Families travelling with little ones can request cots and high chairs to make their stay even more convenient.
The surrounding landscape is one of gently rolling hills, woodlands and small lochs, with rivers meandering through to meet a dramatic coastline dotted with sandy beaches, cliffs and rocky coves. Nearby market towns and fishing villages like Portsoy and Pennan offer a glimpse into the area’s rich history and vibrant local culture.
