Built to an exceptionally high standard, Braes Lodge is a boutique-style eco-friendly retreat that combines luxury with sustainability. It features a green living roof, bamboo flooring throughout, and solar-heated hot water. The open-plan kitchen and living area is both striking and inviting, with a double-height ceiling and two sets of folding doors that open onto a balcony. From here, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of Loch Kinardochy to the north and Schiehallion to the west.

The main living space is bright and airy, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A log-burning stove and soft furnishings provide a cosy touch, while a Sonos sound system fills the lodge with music, extending seamlessly to the outdoors with the addition of a Sonos Move speaker. For quiet nights in, an impressive in-house movie collection is complemented by the 50" 4K Smart TV, soundbar and rear speakers, creating a full cinematic experience.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for self-catering, including an oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and coffee machine. A separate boot room with its own entrance houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and plenty of space to dry outdoor clothing and gear.

The master bedroom suite is a sanctuary of comfort, featuring a handmade king-sized bed with Egyptian cotton sheets. The en-suite shower room has an overhead rain shower and separate handheld wand. A private seating area with comfortable chairs, a dressing table and a built-in wardrobe add an extra layer of luxury, while the seating area leads directly into the lodge’s sauna room.

The sauna is a modern Clearlight infrared two-person unit with its own sound system, providing a relaxing spa-like experience. The lodge’s balcony includes a covered hot tub for soaking while enjoying views of the loch, mountains or starry skies. There is also a table and chairs and a gas-fired barbecue, ideal for outdoor dining and relaxing in nature.

Braes Lodge goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need for a perfect stay. Picnic hampers, jackets and wellies are available to use, and a thoughtful welcome hamper filled with a hand-picked selection of local treats awaits each guest upon arrival.
