Once part of a traditional stable block, Fig Tree has been thoughtfully renovated into a cosy, contemporary holiday home. The open-plan living area is light and welcoming, with tasteful rustic touches and a colour palette that complements the dramatic scenery beyond the French windows. These doors open onto a lawned garden and patio, ideal for outdoor dining or simply soaking in the valley views from the hot tub. Inside, the well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso machine. The main bedroom features a king-size bed with garden views, and the second bedroom offers zip-and-link beds that can be set up as a super-king or twins, along with an additional armchair bed if needed. A modern bathroom includes both a walk-in shower and double-ended bath.
Laurel is a charming single-storey cottage that once served as a stone stable. Now fully modernised, it provides a peaceful and dog-friendly escape. The open-plan living area is spacious and bright, with comfortable furnishings and views of the surrounding mountains. The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering, including a dishwasher and Nespresso machine, while the boot room provides handy storage for outdoor gear and a quiet workspace. The master bedroom features a super-king bed, and the second bedroom has twin beds with views to the west. The bathroom is contemporary and stylish, offering both a walk-in shower and bath. Outside, Laurel guests can relax in their private hot tub or enjoy the garden and patio with outdoor seating and a BBQ.
Across the courtyard, guests can enjoy the indoor swimming pool, which features floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the gardens and ornamental pond. The pool is heated year-round, open 24/7, and exclusively available to guests staying at Fig Tree and Laurel. Children and adults alike are welcome to bring inflatables and enjoy this inviting space whatever the weather.
Over an acre of shared grounds provide space for children and dogs to explore, while the courtyard includes a laundry room with washing and drying facilities, books, DVDs, and board games.
