The Barn is a beautifully converted property that combines traditional character with modern comfort. The Shippen is a characterful cottage with a distinctive open-plan design. It features a galleried double bedroom overlooking the main living area, which includes a sitting room, dining space and kitchen. The interior showcases natural stone and wood, giving it a rustic yet comfortable feel. The sitting area can be rearranged to include two single beds or a double bunk, providing flexible accommodation for couples or small families. The bathroom includes a bath with shower, basin and toilet. Well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement, making The Shippen a great choice for those wishing to bring their four-legged companions.
The Hemphouse offers spacious and stylish accommodation with stunning views over the valley towards Brentor. The open-plan living area has been tastefully decorated, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. On the ground floor there is a single bedroom with an en suite shower room and toilet, as well as laundry facilities. Upstairs, guests will find a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, separated by a landing, along with a family bathroom. The Hemphouse sleeps five guests, with the option of accommodating up to three additional people using a double futon and a fold-up bed.
Collectively, the three cottages can accommodate up to sixteen guests, making Dartmoor Holidays an excellent choice for large family gatherings, walking groups or friends’ retreats. Just three miles away lies Tavistock, a historic market town with a lively mix of shops, cafés and heritage sites.
