Eastern Slade Barn, Oxwich, Swansea, Glamorgan
The holiday barn can accommodate up to 13 guests across four bedrooms, one of which has disabled access. There is also the option to accommodate two additional guests on put-up beds for sole occupancy if required. A fully fitted kitchen, cosy lounge with a log burner and downstairs bathrooms ensure a comfortable stay and make the accommodation particularly suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Outside, guests can enjoy an open space ideal for barbecues, along with a built-in fire pit for relaxed evenings outdoors. Secure storage is available for bikes, canoes and surfboards, making it well suited to active breaks and adventure-focused holidays. The farm is also home to a back-to-basics campsite, which is proudly recognised as the oldest registered campsite on the Gower.
Walking north through the farmyard, the land connects directly to a network of traffic-free bridleways and cycle routes that stretch across the Gower Peninsula. Heading south towards Slade Bay, the land becomes part of the Wales Coast Path, an 870-mile coastal footpath linking Monmouth in the south to Flintshire in the north. This unique location offers guests direct access to some of the most scenic walking, cycling and coastal routes in Wales.
