The cottage is a true haven for relaxation and tranquillity, tucked away in a secluded position on a three-acre paddock while remaining only 100 yards from a forest road. With no close neighbours, guests are more likely to encounter wildlife such as badgers, foxes and deer, creating an authentic and immersive rural getaway that feels wonderfully remote.
Inside, the cottage is well equipped for a comfortable stay. The fully fitted kitchen is ideal for home cooking and includes a ceramic hob with oven and grill, dishwasher, fridge with a small separate freezer, microwave and an automatic washing machine-dryer. After a day exploring the moors, guests can unwind in the cosy living room, which features an HD TV with Freesat, a DVD player and a welcoming log burner, perfect for cooler evenings.
Sleeping accommodation includes a downstairs double bedroom with en suite facilities, along with a twin bedroom and a separate wetroom. There is also space available for a third bed if required. All bed linen and towels are provided, allowing guests to settle in and relax from the moment they arrive.
Outside, a walled patio area with garden furniture and a barbecue offers a lovely space to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the glorious countryside views. EV charging is also available, adding extra convenience for guests travelling by electric vehicle.
An abundance of scenic walking and cycling routes can be found right on the doorstep, ranging from peaceful forestry tracks to expansive open moorland. Kale Pot Cottage is ideally positioned halfway between Levisham Station and Newtondale Halt on the North York Moors Railway, making it particularly appealing to railway enthusiasts.
