The Gallery is a spacious and elegant self-catering retreat for two, created from the largest section of the original barn, which once served as a corn mill, cattle shed and later an art gallery and studio. Full of character, it features exposed barn rafters, a large picture window with hillside views and a mezzanine bedroom overlooking the main living space. The open-plan living area includes a generous dining table, a comfortable seating area set around a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating throughout. A well-equipped kitchen and a modern shower room complete the accommodation. Dogs are not permitted in The Gallery.
Flagstone Cottage is full of country charm, with original beams, a beautiful flagstone floor and antique pine furnishings. French windows open onto the garden with spectacular views, while a second door leads to a pretty courtyard garden. Inside, underfloor heating and an open log fire create a cosy atmosphere. The cottage includes a king-size bedroom, a mezzanine with children’s beds accessed via a much-loved hidden staircase, and an additional single bed if required. Well-suited to couples or small families, it also welcomes well-behaved dogs.
Oak Cottage is a light and airy open-plan ground-floor cottage with outstanding views across the valley. Designed using natural wood and stone, it offers a calm and comfortable space with a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating. Outside, garden seating allows guests to sit back and take in the scenery. The cottage includes a double bed, a single sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious shower room, along with wheelchair access and convenient parking.
The cottages can be rented individually or together, making Broadley Farm suitable for a range of stays. Set between Abergavenny and Hay-on-Wye, the farm enjoys a secluded position in the Vale of Ewyas, away from the crowds. The atmospheric ruins of Llanthony Priory are close by, while walkers can explore the Black Mountains for dramatic landscapes and scenic trails. A short drive brings visitors to Abergavenny, known for its excellent food scene and independent shops, or to Hay-on-Wye with its historic streets, famous bookshops and riverside walks. Broadley Farm Cottages provide a peaceful base for exploring one of the most beautiful parts of Wales.
