Dowlais Farm, Clevedon, Somerset
The beautifully converted barn is home to two distinct cottages, Pippin and Russet, named after traditional Somerset apple varieties in celebration of the area’s heritage. Each cottage features two bedrooms, with a king-size bed in the primary bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom upstairs. The twin beds can also be configured as a large double, offering flexible accommodation for families, couples or friends.
Designed with comfort in mind, the cottages benefit from underfloor heating across the tiled downstairs floors, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the year. The living areas are further enhanced by a wood-burning stove and a Smart TV, making them ideal for relaxing evenings after a day of exploring. For families travelling with young children, stairgates, travel cots and a highchair can be provided on request.
Clevedon itself is a picturesque coastal town, well known for its Victorian Grade I Listed Pier, dramatic tidal range and surrounding countryside rich in wildlife. The location offers a wealth of activities for visitors. The North Somerset Coast is perfect for walking and cycling, with Dowlais Farm positioned directly on the new ‘Pier to Pier’ cycle track, allowing guests to cycle between Clevedon and Weston-super-Mare. The Strawberry Line, another popular and scenic cycling route, is also nearby, offering further opportunities to enjoy the beautiful local landscape.
