Tucked away in the North Paddock, the pods provide a unique home-from-home experience immersed in nature. Each one has been thoughtfully designed to combine comfort with eco-friendly living. Guests can expect a king-size bed, a wood burning stove for cosy evenings, a fully fitted kitchenette and a private deck, creating the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.
There are three pods to choose from, each suited to different group sizes and types of stay. Sparrowhawk is the largest and is ideal for families, sleeping up to six guests. It includes a king-size bed, a sofa bed and two luxury bunk beds. Kestrel offers a cosy yet spacious retreat for up to five guests, with a king-size bed, two bunk beds and a single truckle bed. Buzzard is the most romantic option, perfect for couples, while still offering family-friendly flexibility with a king-size bed, two bunk beds and a single truckle bed.
All pods come well-equipped for a comfortable glamping break. Each includes bedding for the king-size bed, pillows for all beds, and a fully equipped kitchenette with utensils, along with cold running water. The wood burning stove comes with an initial supply of logs, and guests will also find games and books for relaxing evenings indoors. Outside, private decking with outdoor seating and a fire bowl provides an inviting space to enjoy the fresh air. Guests are asked to bring sleeping bags for children using the bunk beds.
Greenhillock’s location in Kirkbuddo, near Forfar in Angus, makes it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. A short drive away, the town of Forfar offers local shops, cafés and the attractive Forfar Loch Country Park, which is ideal for walking, cycling and wildlife spotting. The Angus Glens provide dramatic scenery and excellent opportunities for hiking and photography, while the beaches along the Angus coastline are close enough for a relaxing day by the sea.
