The hostel accommodation comprises three four-bed rooms and one six-bed room, making it particularly well suited to groups, families and friends travelling together. Exclusive use of the property is available for larger groups. Guests have access to a modern, well-equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer and dishwasher, providing everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. The spacious living area features a wood-burning stove, ample sofa seating, dining space for up to 18 guests and a television, creating a warm and sociable environment after a day outdoors. In total, there are four showers and three toilets, along with the added convenience of a laundry room.
Outside, a large lawn and picnic bench provide a pleasant space to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, whether for a morning coffee or an evening gathering.
The Minister’s Path to Glen Clova, part of the East Cairngorms footpath trail, runs nearby, and the hostel sits on the southernmost edge of the Cairngorms National Park. The area is rich in wildlife, with red squirrels frequently seen near the property and the glen home to black grouse and ptarmigan. With a little luck, visitors may also spot an otter or an eagle during their stay.
