Anglesey Shepherds Huts, Llanfaethlu, Holyhead, Anglesey
Designed to offer both comfort and simplicity, the huts provide a luxurious yet back-to-basics experience. With no television or WiFi, guests are encouraged to switch off from everyday distractions and fully embrace the calm and quiet of their surroundings.
Hut Cae has been thoughtfully designed in a charming, cottage-style layout. Its innovative wall-bed can be folded away during the day to reveal a seating area with benches and a table, offering a flexible and practical living space. Storage is neatly integrated within the benches, while the compact kitchen is equipped with a cooker, Belfast sink and fridge with a small ice box. The en suite bathroom includes a shower, basin and toilet, and the hut is kept cosy with a wall-mounted electric heater and heated towel rail. Outside, a bench, firepit and barbecue create an inviting space to relax, particularly in the evening when guests can enjoy the peaceful surroundings under a clear, star-filled sky.
Hut Bryn is positioned partway down the hillside and features a more contemporary style with subtle vintage touches. At its centre is a comfortable king-size bed dressed in cotton linen, with additional storage beneath for blankets and cushions. The kitchen, though compact, is fully equipped with a cooker, sink and fridge with a small ice box. As with Hut Cae, the en suite bathroom includes a shower, basin and toilet, and heating is provided throughout to ensure comfort in all seasons. Outside, guests can make use of the bench, firepit and barbecue, making it easy to enjoy the natural surroundings at any time of day.
Both huts are equipped with DAB radios, adding a simple modern convenience while maintaining the peaceful, unplugged atmosphere. With their thoughtful design, scenic setting and focus on tranquillity, Anglesey Shepherds Huts provide an ideal retreat for those looking to relax and reconnect in the heart of the countryside.
