The property features 18 comfortable bedrooms, all with private facilities and central heating. Each room is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a 26-inch LCD television and a direct dial telephone, providing everything needed for a relaxing and convenient stay. Most of the rooms, all but four, also enjoy pleasant views across the garden and out towards Morecambe Bay.
Guests can choose from a variety of room types, including nine rooms with balconies that allow visitors to make the most of the surrounding views. Four of these are twin-bedded ground floor rooms. Clare House also offers six superior rooms which are larger in size. These include two twin ground floor rooms, two single rooms on the first floor and one twin room on the first floor, all with beautiful bay views. An additional twin room on the first floor sits on the side of the house and does not have a bay view but still provides a comfortable and relaxing space.
Inside the house, guests will find two spacious lounges complete with open fires and plenty of comfortable seating. Both rooms overlook the gardens and the bay, creating an ideal setting to unwind after a day exploring the Lake District. Whether enjoying a quiet moment with a book or simply taking in the scenery, the lounges provide a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
