Lapwing is the largest of the rooms, offering a spacious and versatile setting that can easily be adapted for families. It features a king-size bed and can accommodate two additional single beds and a cot if required. Overlooking the front of the property, Lapwing enjoys charming views of the church and surrounding fields, creating a peaceful backdrop for relaxing in the evening. Lark is another beautifully presented room with picturesque countryside views. It includes a king-size bed with space for an additional single bed and a cot if needed, along with an en-suite shower room complete with Clarity toiletries and soft towels. Guests can unwind with a TV featuring Freeview and make use of the tea and coffee facilities, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay after a day spent exploring the area.
Each morning, guests can enjoy a farmhouse breakfast prepared using locally sourced ingredients. Served in the breakfast room or outside in the garden during the warmer months, it includes fresh fruit, toast, jam and cereals alongside a hearty cooked breakfast, providing the perfect start to the day.
During their stay, guests also have access to the lounge known as The Cheese Room. With far-reaching views stretching from Bristol to the Brecon Beacons, this cosy space offers a unique place to relax. Once used by Kay’s grandmother to store her farmhouse cheese, it has been transformed into a comfortable lounge, complete with a wood-burner for cooler evenings.
