The hall has been thoughtfully converted into 12 self-catering apartments, providing flexible accommodation for a wide range of guests. Whether visiting as a couple, a family, a group of friends or a larger party, Hargate Hall caters equally well to short breaks, walking holidays, activity trips or more relaxed escapes. Individually, the apartments sleep between two and ten guests, while larger groups have the option to book multiple apartments or even the entire property, accommodating up to 77 people.
Each apartment is furnished and equipped to a high standard, offering comfort alongside practicality. All include fully fitted kitchen areas with everything expected for a self-catering stay, as well as spacious living areas designed for relaxation after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.
Among the largest apartments is Balmoral, a three-bedroom space sleeping up to ten guests, featuring a generous living room with three settees, an open fire and far-reaching views. Windsor offers similarly spacious accommodation with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, while Sandringham and Ashbourne provide excellent options for groups of up to eight, each with well-proportioned living spaces and flexible sleeping arrangements. Bakewell stands out with its conservatory kitchen and dining area, while Eyam offers a more traditional layout with a separate galley kitchen and comfortable lounge.
Other apartments such as Tissington and Castleton combine character with attractive views, with Castleton featuring a distinctive turret bedroom. Smaller options including Haddon, Chatsworth, Welbeck and Hardwick provide ideal accommodation for couples or smaller groups, while still maintaining the same standard of comfort and thoughtful design.
Beyond the apartments themselves, Hargate Hall offers a wide range of facilities to enhance the guest experience. A two-storey games room provides entertainment for all ages, with table football, table tennis, air hockey and a pool table upstairs, and a soft play area with a large ball pool and slide for younger visitors downstairs. Outside, guests can enjoy a flat lawn area suitable for activities such as croquet, football and badminton, as well as a well-equipped adventure playground.
