Guests also have access to a double-ring gas stove with a gas canister provided, along with cookware, utensils and basic supplies such as tea, coffee and sugar. Sharing the same scenic site, the bell tent provides a more luxurious glamping experience with its super king-size bed and spacious interior. Positioned at the end of the Eden Valley, it offers both seclusion and convenience, with Hadrian’s Wall nearby and the North Lakes just a short drive away. The bell tent and wooden pod share a washroom equipped with a shower, toilet and sink, along with external sockets for charging devices.
For those seeking additional privacy, the log cabin presents a more secluded retreat. Guests can explore the nearby meadow, enjoy the small lake or take out the rowing boat for a peaceful experience on the water. Inside, the cabin features a king-size bed, microwave, two-ring gas stove, kettle, fridge and electricity, along with outdoor facilities including a brazier and barbecue. A converted shed nearby serves as a fully functional washroom exclusively for log cabin guests.
The shepherd’s hut offers a romantic and cosy alternative, beautifully handcrafted and fully wood-lined. Complete with its own ensuite, it provides a comfortable and stylish space with an oil-fired electric heater, a small wood burner, and a full range of amenities including a fridge, kettle, toaster and cooking equipment.
Throughout the site, guests are encouraged to make the most of the natural surroundings. The small lake, complete with islands and a rowing boat, offers a peaceful setting for exploration, while a walk up the lane may reward visitors with a glimpse of the resident red deer.
