The guest house features 12 tastefully furnished bedrooms, each thoughtfully equipped with a television, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. The first floor is home to several spacious bedrooms featuring beautiful four-poster or canopy beds, adding an extra touch of character to any stay.
For guests who prefer to avoid stairs, Ascot House also offers two comfortable ground-floor rooms. These include a twin room with a shower and toilet, and a double room with a bath, shower and toilet. Although the property is not fully accessible due to a small number of steps at the entrance, a wheelchair ramp is available to assist guests.
One of the building's most striking original features is the beautiful pitch pine staircase, complemented by a rare curved stained-glass oriel window on the half-landing. On sunny days, colourful light streams through the glass, creating a memorable welcome as guests make their way to the upper floors.
