Ladies Lodge, Inverness, Inverness-shire
The villa has been carefully refurbished, retaining plenty of period character while introducing the modern facilities needed for a comfortable stay. At the centre of the house is the grand drawing room, where oil paintings, antiques and Persian rugs complement the building's Victorian style. There is plenty of room for everyone to gather around the fire, watch a film or settle down for an evening of board games.
Groups are well catered for in the large kitchen. Facilities include a Rayburn stove, gas and electric range cooker, American fridge freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, espresso machine, microwave and toaster, providing everything required for preparing anything from breakfast to a family evening meal.
There is plenty to keep both adults and younger guests entertained. The games room features a pool and snooker table, 55-inch Smart TV and Xbox, along with children's books, games and toys. This versatile room can also be used as a fifth bedroom, with a folding sofa that converts into a double bed.
The remaining accommodation includes a four-poster Super King bedroom, two flexible Super King/Twin rooms which can each be arranged with a Super King bed or two singles, and a bunk bedroom. This choice of sleeping arrangements makes the villa particularly practical for groups of different ages.
With generous shared spaces, flexible bedrooms and entertainment for evenings spent at home, Ladies Lodge provides a comfortable group retreat while placing guests right in the heart of Inverness and within easy reach of the wider Scottish Highlands.
