Lords of the Manor Hotel, Upper Slaughter, Gloucestershire, The Cotswolds
There is a varied choice of accommodation, ranging from Country Double rooms to larger bedrooms and luxury options. Country Doubles have standard double beds and en-suite bathrooms with a shower over the bath, while most other room categories have king-size beds which can be converted into twins.
Manor rooms are situated within the converted barn and granary, overlooking either Upper Slaughter or the inner courtyard. Rectory rooms are found mainly within the former Old Rectory section of the main house and retain a number of traditional features.
Guests looking for additional space can choose one of the Cotswold bedrooms, which include either an open-plan sitting area or a separate lounge. These rooms are particularly useful for families, with space for up to two rollaway beds for children aged 14 and under.
For a special stay, the Lords Luxury bedrooms occupy the first floor of the oldest part of the house. They feature high ceilings, king-size beds and views across the front garden and Cotswold countryside. Some accommodation at the hotel is also dog friendly, subject to availability and an additional charge.
All bedrooms include Wi-Fi, a television, tea and coffee making facilities, an in-room safe, telephone and hairdryer. Bathrobes, slippers and Molton Brown toiletries are also provided.
Dining is another important part of a stay at Lords of the Manor. Atrium is the hotel's fine-dining restaurant, holding four AA Rosettes and featuring in the Good Food Guide. There is one sitting each evening at 6.45pm, with each course served to diners simultaneously.
For a more relaxed dining experience, guests can choose The Dining Room, which combines a less formal setting with a continued focus on quality food and service.
With a wide choice of bedrooms, two restaurants and extensive grounds, Lords of the Manor provides a comfortable base for a country break in Upper Slaughter and the wider Cotswolds.
