The Rivers Edge, Pandy, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire

The River’s Edge is a holiday park set in the Monmouthshire countryside on the edge of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Surrounded by farmland and with views towards the Black Mountain, the site provides a convenient base for walking, cycling and exploring this part of Wales.

The park welcomes campervans, motorhomes, touring caravans, trailer tents and roof tents. One-person tents are also accepted, making it a useful option for solo travellers exploring the area.

Guests can choose from spacious grass and hardstanding pitches with 16-amp electric hook-ups. Some pitches benefit from partial shade from established trees, while facilities on the site include a shower block and washing-up area.

One of the main benefits of staying at The River’s Edge is having a pub and restaurant conveniently located beside the pitches. Guests can enjoy a meal or drink without having to travel elsewhere, while the beer garden provides outdoor seating during warmer weather. Regular weekend entertainment includes live singers and quiz nights.

Walkers have plenty to explore directly from the park. A private access gate leads to a riverside walking route through the surrounding farmland which is reserved for guests. The Offa’s Dyke Path can also be reached in approximately 20 minutes on foot.

For those looking to explore further afield, Abergavenny is around a 10-minute drive away, while Bannau Brycheiniog provides plenty of opportunities for days spent walking and cycling.
