The extensive grounds are a particular highlight. Children have woodland to explore, dens to build and plenty of room for their own outdoor adventures, while dogs can enjoy long walks without guests even needing to leave the property. Wildlife is frequently spotted too, with deer and badgers visiting the grounds and kestrels soaring overhead.
Despite the wonderfully rural surroundings, guests are still within easy reach of the Cornish coast and the shops, restaurants and harbour of Fowey.
There are two characterful properties at Little Pinnock, Long House and Pella. They can be booked individually or together, making the accommodation particularly useful for larger family gatherings, wedding parties and special celebrations.
Long House offers generous accommodation with an impressive open-plan living space featuring high-beamed ceilings, wooden floors and underfloor heating. At one end is a well-equipped kitchen, while the sitting area has comfortable sofas and a log-burning stove. Large glass doors lead onto a paved patio and garden, providing an inviting place to relax outside.
The accommodation includes a double bedroom, a flexible twin which can be made into a super king-size bed and a single bedroom. An open gallery overlooking the living area provides two additional low-level single beds. Upstairs, the large double bedroom has an en suite shower room and French doors leading across a small bridge to the upper garden.
Pella is the smaller of the two properties and retains plenty of traditional charm, including substantial stone walls, high beams and stripped antique pine floorboards. Its spacious sitting room has an open fireplace, while the well-equipped kitchen and farmhouse dining table provide everything needed for relaxed self-catering meals.
The property has a ground-floor double bedroom with an en suite bathroom featuring a Victorian roll-top bath. A second bedroom upstairs has a small double and single bed, with separate shower and toilet facilities. There is also an open gallery above the kitchen area.
One of Pella's standout features is its large south-facing terrace overlooking gardens, fields and a stream. It is a lovely spot for making the most of sunny days or sitting outside as the stars appear in the evening.
