The cottage sits adjacent to an impressive Grade II Listed building, with honey-coloured Cotswold stone and Gothic windows adding plenty of character to the setting. Inside, May Cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped to a high standard, while a special welcome hamper awaits guests on arrival.
All of the accommodation is arranged on the ground floor. The spacious sitting and dining room features an original Georgian marble fireplace and double French windows leading onto the private patio. Entertainment includes Sky Q with access to Sky Sports and streaming services such as Netflix, along with a DVD player, mini Hi-Fi and a well-stocked bookcase.
Guests can also relax in the light-filled conservatory, which can be accessed from both the sitting room and master bedroom. It opens directly onto the private patio, where a table and chairs provide a pleasant place to sit outside. During the summer months, a gas barbecue and large sun umbrella are also provided for al fresco dining.
The fully equipped kitchen has black granite worktops and a comprehensive selection of appliances, including an oven and hob, dishwasher and integrated washer-dryer, as well as plenty of refrigeration space.
May Cottage sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite and attractive arched windows opening towards the garden and conservatory. Both bedrooms also have wall-mounted flat-screen televisions.
In addition to the cottage's own private outside space, guests are welcome to explore the garden of the adjoining main house, which extends to just under half an acre.
