The cottages vary in size and character, giving guests plenty of options when planning their Devon break. Cedar Cottage and Oak Cottage both sleep two and are ideal for couples looking for a peaceful countryside escape, while Larch Cottage and Beech Cottage sleep four.
For families and groups of up to six, Rowan Cottage, Willow Cottage, Trotters and The Linhay provide spacious accommodation with a choice of double, king and twin bedrooms. Several cottages feature wood-burning stoves, creating a cosy place to relax after a day exploring Devon.
Trotters is a private detached cottage with its own patio overlooking the orchard and panoramic countryside views, while The Linhay enjoys an especially secluded setting in its own five-acre field. This south-facing, single-storey barn sleeps six and has three wet rooms with power showers. It is also accessible for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users.
Larger parties can choose Elm Barn, which sleeps up to 11 guests across five bedrooms. Its generous dining room, separate living room with wood-burning stove and private courtyard garden make it particularly well suited to family get-togethers and group holidays.
There is plenty to enjoy without even leaving Newhouse Farm. Guests have access to an indoor heated swimming pool with counter-current jets, a traditional sauna and games rooms, as well as free Wi-Fi throughout the property. Outside, 30 acres of grounds and woodland provide plenty of space to explore, complete with a small fishing lake and stream.
Younger visitors can enjoy the outdoor play areas with swings, slides and a 14-foot trampoline with safety enclosure. For larger celebrations and gatherings, The Hayloft provides a private function and dining room seating up to 47 people, while a Scandinavian barbecue lodge can be hired for groups of up to 35.
Newhouse Farm Cottages is also well positioned for discovering more of Devon. Guests can explore both the North and South Devon coastlines or head inland for walking, cycling and days amongst the impressive landscapes of Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks.
